Now compatible with iOS 6!

Supports YouTube video playback!

10-day full trial available!

Did you know your iPhone/iPod Touch can play videos on your TV? Did you know Apple wants you to pay $50 to get a cable that lets you do such?

Did you know you don't need to?

There are plenty of accessories on the market that allow you to play video out with iPods, but when plugged into the iPhone, display "This accessory is unsupported by iPhone", and refuse to play video out. Or at least used to.

Resupported 4.0+ is a safe and cheap alternative to paying the Apple tax. It enables video out through many unsupported AV cables and devices, and it does not modify system files!

Plus, Resupported adds video playback support to many third-party applications, such as YouTube, Hulu+, IMDB, VEVO, and more!

While no guarantees are made towards supporting a particular cable, as a general rule:

  • Does it plug into the dock connector?
  • Will audio play through it when connected to your device?
  • Does it have a video output or a screen?

Important notes

  • Cable detection only works if audio is normally able to go out your dock cable.
  • Resupported will not (by itself) mirror your applications on a TV. You will need DisplayOut to show your device's screen on a TV.
  • Accessory warning messages may disappear.
  • Resupported4 will NOT enable charging with cords that do not already charge your device. That is a hardware, not a software limitation.
  • Have a lightning to 30-pin adapter? Sorry, you can't use your old video cables anymore

Purchased but still getting the "Trial Expired" message? Open Settings, scroll down to Resupported 4.0+, and tap "Check Registration".
